1ST PRIZE: RAMZI SAADE - LEBANESE MENU

This menu tries to pick up my heart piece by piece by bringing together my memories of Lebanon.

Each dish is inspired by a childhood memory in Beirut, revisited through the three colors of the Lebanese flag: white, red, and green.

I have lived most of my life in a magical country, Lebanon, where I learned to respect and work with ingredients from A to Z, practicing agriculture, hunting, and fishing. My passion for creating smiles of friends through cooking has taken me around the world to live in 6 countries.  I studied engineering in Lebanon and then cooking in Le Cordon Bleu Canada, then MBA business management at INSEAD in France.

My gastronomic journey began in my mother's Lebanese cuisine and evolved into traditional French cuisine and then into Canadian molecular cuisine. Today, I work to simplify my daily cooking by drawing inspiration from Japanese values and the Lebanese repertoire. I believe cooking is the best introduction to a new culture.

2ND PRIZE: FEDERICO TISEYRA - GERMAN MENU

Born in Argentina, I started my cooking career in Buenos Aires at the age of 20.

After working in several restaurants, I wanted to follow my passion for travel and so I started my international career working in Brazil in a 2* Michelin restaurant.

This experience was followed by work in the Caribbean, the United States and China.

For 3 years, I have been working in different kitchens based in Europe, particularly in Italy and Sweden.

For the Love of Food gave me the chance to show my talent here in Paris. Currently, I am starting this new chapter as an independent chef, because my dream is to develop a small project by my own restaurant to serve the food and the experiences that I feel.

Daughter of villagers originally from Bejaïa, in Kabylie, I was born and grew up in Algiers rocked by songs and intoxicated by my mother's delicious Berber dishes.

Arrived at the age of 19 in France, I reproduced the dishes inspired by my childhood for my family, my friends, the neighborhood, in order to transmit and share my culture and my traditions.

A housewife for a long time, I have always wanted to integrate and evolve in the culinary world in order to introduce as many people as possible to my passion, my region.

In 2017 my dream became reality thanks to the meeting of the founders of a new startup: Meet My Mama. It was the start of a great adventure that allowed me to rub shoulders with the greatest and to transport lovers of good traditional Berber cuisine for a meal or a workshop.
